This website has been created as a convenient and interactive way to share all of the important details with you in the lead up to our wedding.  Please keep checking this page as information will be added as we get closer to the day and please don’t forget to RSVP!

Wedding Ceremony

Timings
For day guests, please arrive by 13:00 to be seated at 13:15 for a 13:30 ceremony being held in The Sitting Room. The ceremony will be followed by a drinks reception and wedding breakfast before partying the night away.

The Drinks reception will be held in The Library / Terrace.  During this time photos will be taken inside and outside (weather permitting).

At 15:30 guests will need to go to the Romanov Suite for the Wedding Breakfast being served at 16:00.  The menu will be published further down this page nearer the date.  We will remain in the Romanov Suite for the evening celebrations.

No casual wear

Travel & Parking
Parking is available on site. Any cars left overnight must be collected by 10:00 the next morning. Travel details are on our website and in the guest dashboard.

An Evening Buffet will be served at 20:45.

Please use the contact form on this website or text us a song request that we can forward onto our DJ (something that will guarantee to get you up on that dance floor with us!).

Carriages
Carriages are at 1am. It is advised to book your taxis in advance.
Any cars left in the car-park overnight must be collected by 10:00am Sunday.

The closest train station is 'Luton Parkway Station'. The station is a short taxi ride (10 min) away from the venue.

Gifts

But in this case there is a slight twist

Q&A

Q: I'm a Day guest, when should I arrive?
Please arrive by 1:00pm. Guests will be seated at 1:15pm for a 1:30pm Ceremony start.

Q: I'm an Evening guest, what time should I arrive?
Evening guests are welcome to start arriving at the venue from 7:00pm onwards.
 
Q: What should I wear?
The correct terminology is Formal / Semi Formal attire.
For women, dress / cocktail dress of a respectable length.
For men, shirt, tie and suit.
(Not casual wear, no jeans or trainers).

Q: Can I use Confetti?
Confetti is not permitted in the hotel and grounds, including Confetti cannons. However you are permitted to use Dried rose petals but outside only.

Q: Is there free parking onsite?
Yes! As you drive towards the mansion house there is a fork in the road to the left, that goes to the left of the building.  The guest car park is there.  Please do not park at the front of the house as parking is limited and restricted.
 
If you are drinking and staying nearby, you may leave your car overnight. Any cars left overnight must be collected by 10am Sunday morning.

Q: Can I bring a plus one?
Due to number restrictions, our wedding is strictly RSVP only.
We are only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Q: Can I bring the kids?
As much as we would like to invite children, due to numbers it is not possible. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time. We hope that you see this as an opportunity to let your hair down and enjoy partying with us!

Q: Will the ceremony be indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony will be taking place inside the venue. The drinks reception will follow immediately after the ceremony & will take place in The Library/Terrace.  During this time photos will be inside and outside (weather permitting)

Q: What will the food be?
The menu has been set!  We have selected a three course meal. If you have any dietary requirements / allergies, please let us know on your RSVP so you can be served an delicious alternative.

Wedding Breakfast:

Starters - Springs Oak Smoked Salmon & Cream Cheese press, gin pickled cucumber, sweet lemon gel and pea shoots.

Main - Pave Beef Rump, fondant potato, cauliflower theese purée, sugar snaps and roast roots.

Dessert - Salted caramel cheesecake, pear and brandy compote and white chocolate ice cream - or - Warm fine apple tart, cinnamon ice cream and créme anglaise.
 
Vegan/Vegetarian Menu

Starters
- Carpaccio of heritage tomatoes and seasonal baby vegetables, tomato gel, olive oil pearls and green onion oil.

Main - Courgette blossom filled with Provençal vegetables, quinoa and roast baby artichoke & basil infused tomato essence.

Dessert - Roast pineapple, coconut sorbet, mango curd and passion fruit jam.

Q: Will there be food served in the evening?
Yes, we will be serving the evening buffet. If you have any allergies please let us know on your RSVP so that we can accommodate.

Q: Will there be a bar?
Yes, of course!!!! Please note that Luton Hoo is _card_ only payment, they don't handle cash. 

Q: Can I stay at Luton Hoo?
Rooms which include bed & breakfast are available at the following discounted rates:

Saturday night is £195.00 (Inc VAT) for the Parkland or Flowergarden deluxe room, additional supplements of £85.00 to £870.00 are available for staying in the Mansion House.

Q: Are there local hotels nearby?
Yes, There are a limited number of rooms available at Luton Hoo. 

The nearest hotels are The Hampton by Hilton by the train station, The Ibis by the airport, and there is also a Premier Inn in town (10 min). If you are staying locally and will be drinking, we suggest you pre-book your taxi to your hotel.

Q: What should I do if I cannot make it?
If you are unable to attend our wedding please let us know via the RSVP section. If something comes up after you've replied, please let us know ASAP so that we can plan accordingly, thank you.

Q: Can I take pictures during the wedding ceremony?
We will have a photographer during the day but if you would like to take photos as well that would be fine, we just ask that you share them with us.  Please note no photos are allowed during the legal parts of the wedding ceremony (unless the registrar says otherwise).

Q: Can I post pictures of the wedding on social media?
We do politely ask if guests can refrain from posting snaps onto social media until the newlyweds have posted.

Q: What time will the Evening Reception finish?
Last drinks from the bar are at 00:30am, carriages are at 1am.
We would like all of our guests to get home/ to their hotels safely, therefore, it is advised to pre-book local trusted taxis from the list given by our venue above.

Unless you are staying at Luton Hoo, guests are required to leave the premises just after 1am. If you are a driver and are drinking, you are welcome to leave your car overnight and collect it the following morning.
